Chapel Loop Trail

The most popular day hike in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, this 10-mile loop in Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore packs in extraordinary scenery: Chapel Falls, Chapel Rock, Chapel Beach, Chapel Lake, and sweeping views of Lake Superior from 200-foot sandstone cliffs. The iconic Chapel Rock sea stack with a lone white pine growing from its top is one of the UP’s most photographed images. Moderately challenging with some elevation, rewarding beyond description.
