Description

The North Country National Scenic Trail is the longest hiking trail in the United States at over 4,800 miles, and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula contains some of its most spectacular segments. Over 170 miles of NCT wind through the UP, passing Tahquamenon Falls, the Pictured Rocks shoreline, waterfalls, river valleys, and vast hardwood forests. The Marquette area sections feature granite outcrops, Lake Superior beaches, and iconic views of Presque Isle Park.
