Presque Isle Park
Description
A 323-acre forested peninsula jutting into Lake Superior right at the edge of Marquette, Presque Isle Park is one of the most beloved free attractions in the UP. Miles of trails wind through old-growth hardwood forest and along the rocky Lake Superior shoreline, with Sunset Point offering one of the best vantage points in Michigan. A small white-tailed deer herd often roams the grounds, and the park is a prime stop for birding. The scenic loop drive is open daily year-round from 7am to 11pm in summer.
