Description
Agate Falls on the Middle Branch Ontonagon River is one of the western UP’s most beloved waterfalls, offering excellent views from a well-maintained overlook platform. The falls drop about 40 feet over colorful Precambrian rock in a forested canyon. The site includes a picnic area and a short trail to the base where visitors can scramble on the rocks during low water. A popular stop on a western UP waterfall loop with Bond Falls just 20 minutes away.
